MyEvents RSVP provides event RSVP management tools, private RSVP links, QR code inserts, email notifications, and optional SMS notifications for account users and event invitees.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the RSVP service, including account names, organizer names, email addresses, mobile phone numbers when provided, event details, invitation records, attendee names, RSVP responses, reminder preferences, and billing contact information for purchases.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, events, invitations, RSVP responses, confirmations, reminders, account alerts, verification codes, security controls, customer care responses, billing records, service diagnostics, and legal compliance.

SMS Messaging Privacy

SMS opt-in is voluntary. Users and invitees may opt in by entering a mobile phone number and checking an unchecked SMS consent box. SMS messages may include RSVP confirmations, RSVP updates, event reminders, event-related notifications, account verification codes, account alerts, and customer care responses.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are used only to provide the requested messaging service. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except service providers that help deliver messages, comply with law, or protect the service.

Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the site, host data, process email, process future SMS delivery, support security, process billing, or provide customer support. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of MyEvents RSVP, our users, or others.

Choices

You may update account contact details and SMS preferences from your account profile. Event invitees may choose whether to provide an email address or mobile phone number when submitting an RSVP. SMS recipients may reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance.

Data Retention

Event data is retained according to the account plan and may be purged after the retention period. Basic audit, purchase, allocation, security, and consent records may be retained as needed for service operation, legal compliance, and fraud prevention.

Security

We use administrative access controls, password protection, CSRF protection, optional MFA, and secure transport where available. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, but we work to protect the information entrusted to the service.
